We are the McKinney High School Orchestra!
The Orchestra Students need your help by becoming a vital part of your student’s musical success. Your time amplifies a team of support and unforgettable experiences. Please volunteer to serve our students in one of the below volunteer capacities.
BANQUET COMMITTEE
Assist the Chair as needed with banquet organization the day of the banquet.
CONCERT COMMITTEE
Distribute programs, serve as ushers as needed prior and during some concerts.
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Assist the Chair throughout the year with promotions.
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
Assist the Chair with amazing service to our families, friends and special guests during events. Assist in serving food, treats and/or beverages at special events and holiday parties.
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
Assist the Chair with selecting judges, distributing applications and calculating results as needed.
UNIFORM COMMITTEE
Assist the Directors with uniform distribution and collection.

Mission Statement
The primary mission of the McKinney High School Orchestra Booster Club (MHSOBC) is to encourage the enrichment of the lives of our young musicians and further their musical interest through active participation with the orchestra at McKinney High School. Additionally, the McKinney High School Orchestra Booster Club will ensure the safety and welfare of the students when travel is involved or at any school function, away from school, or outside regular school hours, in which the orchestra is participating. The McKinney High School Orchestra Booster Club will also help create awareness and advocacy in the community regarding orchestra and will help generate funding ideas for orchestra events.

We are looking forward to an exciting year, and we need your help! The MHS Orchestra Booster Club (MHSOBC) supports the orchestra program by raising funds through donations and fundraising activities, as well as planning, coordinating, and helping at many events throughout the year. Donations and fundraising are our main sources of funding, so please give us your support! MHSOBC will help fund many aspects of the orchestra program, such as the concert receptions, socials, supplies and equipment for students, financial aid for private lessons, senior scholarships, and the end-of-year banquet.
